Team Guardian LLC, is a Phoenix, Arizona based investigation and training company. We specialize in covert physical and technical surveillance for various types of investigations. We have conducted training programs since 1998 under the business name Say Know to Drugs. Our training programs address safety and security issues in the public and private sector. Additionally we provide personal and physical security consulting to private and public organizations.

Darin Fredrickson, CPP recently retired after a 20-year law enforcement career with the Phoenix Police Department. In 1996 he was assigned as a Detective to the Drug Enforcement Bureau where he spent over 12 years conducting surveillance and investigating drug traffickers, dealers, and manufacturers. He has worked various undercover assignments. In addition to working in the drug enforcement unit, he worked on a Homicide/Drug Task Force.
In 2005, Darin transferred to a covert surveillance unit that conducted surveillance and investigated career criminals involved in crimes including burglary, robbery, auto theft, larceny, Organized Retail Crime (ORC), fraud, and identity theft. He has conducted hundreds of seminars in topics including street drugs, personal and physical security, covert surveillance, racial profiling, and terrorism. He instructs not only for members of law enforcement, but also for those in government and the private sector.
Darin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in management from Ottawa University, and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University. He is currently researching digital storytelling for education as part of doctoral studies in Education at North Central University in Arizona. In 2010 ASIS International certified him as a Certified Protection Professional (CPP). He is the co-author of five books including Applied Police and Fire Photography (1997), Terrorist Attacks (2001), Racial Profiling (2002), Fundamentals of Physical Surveillance (2002), and Street Drug Investigation (2004). Currently, for 3rd edition printing, he is revising Fundamentals of Civil and Private Investigation. His books are available from Charles C.
